Norwilbeck Bellchime Boxers are reputable and dedicated breeders and exhibitors of Boxers located in the beautiful village of Esprick, Lancashire. We are passionate about the breed and strive to produce and showcase the highest quality Boxers. We have a FIVE STAR Council Breeders Licence and are one of only a handful of Boxer breeders here in the UK to acheive this. Our commitment to responsible breeding practices ensures that our dogs are not only physically sound and healthy, but also have excellent temperaments. We take great pride in our dogs and are actively involved in the dog show community being one of the Top Boxer Show kennels here in the UK. Our goal is to continue the legacy of this wonderful breed and provide loving and forever homes for our puppies. Our dogs are raised in a loving home enviroment with children and are well socialized, making them ideal companions for any family.
Our Journey.
The fascination with Boxers started back in the eighties. Sandra with a Sundawn bitch from the late Margaret Maskell and Greg with a bitch from the world famous Marbelton Kennel owned by the late Mary & John Hambleton. Greg's affix Bellchime was granted in 1986 and Sandra's affix Norwilbeck in 1991. Today they campaign under the joint affix Norwilbeck Bellchime from which they have had considerable success, making up Eleven UK Champions to date.
Sandra had the fortune to have been mentored by her close friend Annabel Zammit (Santonoaks) and Greg being mentored by Sue Harvey (Feardorn) where he spent many a time studying pedigree's along with Sue at her home in Hoton, Leicestershire.. For those of you who dont know them, their small kennel is based in the North West of England a stone throw from the Irish Sea and close to the famous Blackpool Tower.
They have achieved quite a lot considering they are a relatively small kennel, the highlight being back in 2008 when they won both Best of Breed at CRUFTS and the British Boxer Club prestigious CHAMPION OF CHAMPION'S trophy in the same year with CH Bellchime Special Edition (Dee). They are reliably informed they are one of a few kennels to achieve this double so both Sandra and Greg were extremely honored to achieve this for a second time in 2016 with CH Panabolo Specially fof Norwilbeck Bellchime (Ella). What makes it all the more special they are both sired by CH Norwilbeck Special Blend (Ben). Dee was from one of Ben's first litters and Ella from his last - the end of an era you might say.
In 2014 at the Boxer Event Ella won the Mancunian Pup of the Year & The Cotswold Dog of the Year making history being the first Boxer to achieve this prestigious double making a bit of Boxer history. Ella managed to repeat her Dog of the Year win again in 2016. Sandra & Greg are extremely proud of all their achievements and would like to take this oppotunity to thank all the judges who over the years have thought so highly of their dogs.
